Fire Damper
Application
Fire dampers are commonly installed on the air ducts of ventilation and air conditioning systems with smoke prevention and fire protection requirements. They remain open under normal operating conditions and close automatically when the temperature reaches 70°C to block smoke and stop fire spread.
Performance
- The damper closes via fusible link actuation at 70°C.
- Manual closing and manual reset functions are available.
- Signal output upon damper closure.
Main Technical Parameters
- Fuse operating temperature: 70°C
- Fire resistance rating of damper: 1.5 hours
- Resistance coefficient at fully open state: <0.5
